Paul and Amy - March 2021

Paul and Amy eloped to Darwin from South Australia to be married on a little secluded beach at East Point. It was a bit of a precarious climb down the rocks for the bride in her dress, but with shoes off and the aid of the best man, she made it down onto the little beach. With only the Celebrant, a Best Man, and me present (I doubled as both photographer and witness), this gorgeous couple said I do in a beautiful, intimate ceremony. Their love for each other as beautiful to bear witness to and the small elopement a real reminder of what it’s all really about.

Photos were taken all around the East Point area - no sunset that night as it was during the end of the wet season in Darwin. Instead, they had beautiful stormy skies. Paul gave Amy an impromptu dizzy whizzy much to her initial protests and surprised delight which made for great photos and we had some fun with Paul picking up Amy and pretending to throw her off the cliffs (not sure Amy had quite as much fun - the momentary look of terror on her face was quite real but passed quickly!).
