Anil and Liz - April 2021

Anil and Liz’s wedding was my first Catholic Indian wedding. Liz ran me through all of the special ceremonial moments that would occur during the church ceremony (as it was all spoken in Hindi).

After the ceremony was finished, I whisked Liz and Anil away (on their request), so they could enjoy time as just the two of them to create beautiful couple images. Whilst initially a little shy with each other and a bit more rigid in the images, they soon relaxed and had lots of fun and created magic together.

Braving the edge of the cliff whilst waves crashed against it, the couple were soon doused in salt water as the sea spray enveloped them - making for great images!

We ended the evening with another cultural traction and blessing at their new home. It was quite a shock to both the couple and me, how many people attended that - they thought it would only be the priest and a few close family members, but I reckon about 50 people showed up and piled in to their small loungeroom!
